The United States Library of Congress has selected The Youth Cafés' website for inclusion in the Kenyan Presidential Election 2022 Web Archive, which is part of a larger collection of historically and culturally significant websites that have been designated for preservation. The Library hopes that The Youth Café shares the Library's vision of preserving digital content and making it available to current and future generations of researchers. The Library of Congress believes that expanding access to the Library's collections is one of the best ways to increase opportunities for education and scholarship worldwide.
The Youth Café Is The Newest Member Of Democracy Research & Development.
On the 19th of January 2022, The Youth Café got admission as the newest and only member in East and Central Africa to Democracy R&D. Democracy R&D is an international network of organizations, associations, and individuals helping decision-makers take hard decisions and build public trust. The Youth Café had been interviewed on the 10th of January and on behalf of the coordination group, David Schecter, proposed The Youth Café as a new organizational member of Democracy R&D, where the proposal was met with no objections.
Impact Of COVID-19 On Youth In The Renewable Energy Sector | The Youth Cafe
On request from IRENA, the SDG7 Youth Constituency provided an input to the agency's report on the impact of COVID-19 on youth in the renewable energy sector. The submission is focused on impacts of the crisis, examples of youth action in the face of pandemic and policy recommendations for post-COVID recovery. It has been compiled with support from members of the constituency listed below.
