On December 8, 2023, The Youth Cafe, collaborating with other partners, ForumCiv, Badili Africa, and Africa Uncensored, organised a national Human Rights celebration event at the Daystar University Auditorium on Valley Road, Nairobi, Kenya. The theme, "Navigating the Consequences of Economic Shocks on Human Rights: Dignity, Freedom, and Justice for All," occurred from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. This gathering drew a diverse audience of at least 300 participants, representing a cross-section of society, including youth, community members, persons with disabilities, and women.

Every three years, the Women Deliver Conference galvanizes momentum for gender equality. It is a bold and diverse gathering, a fueling station of ideas, and a generator of action, convening thousands to identify solutions and drive change for girls and women. The first Women Deliver (WD) conference was held in London, UK, in 2007, bringing together 1,700 people and making the investment case for reproductive and maternal health; Women Deliver secured MDG 5 – Improve Maternal Health – on the global development agenda.

The Youth Cafe will receive partnership benefits, including an exclusive scholarship to The Youth Café community and shared revenue with The Youth Café for every member of its community who enrolls at Nexford through marketing initiatives and earns up to $300 in shared revenue.

Working towards achieving this vision, The Youth Café, in partnership with Indonesian Youth Foundation, is organizing a youth virtual cultural exchange intended to be an event where Kenyan and Indonesian youth between the ages of 16 and 35 engage and network and build linkages. The workshop will open up the world to the wide diversity and richness of Indonesian and Kenyan culture, a fascinating tale of two countries waiting to happen. Kenyan and Indonesian youth will be able to showcase their talents and the rich diversity of their cultures in food, language, traditions, and fashion.

The heads of state or the government of the African Union (AU) and the European Union (EU) met for the sixth European Union - African Union summit in Brussels on 17 and 18 February 2022. The meeting was co-chaired by the President of the European Council, H.E Mr. Charles Michel, and the President of Senegal and the Chairperson of the AU, H.E Mr. Macky Sall. Ahead of the summit, EU leaders took part in an informal meeting of the members of the European Union Council on the latest developments related to Russia and Ukraine. EU and AU leaders agreed on a joint vision for a renewed partnership.
