Our approach

We employ various approaches to Youth empowerment. Our continental approach involves bringing together African youth-led initiatives to foster collaboration and exchange of ideas and practices in the development of innovative projects. Through creating a joint grant program and pilot dialogue and engagement mechanisms, the project will create opportunities for developing joint activities that have long-term positive impacts.

Advocacy

As an African continent-based youth fund, we recognize the privilege we impart to African youth. The issues addressed by the African Youth Foundation have a powerful impact on youths, communities, countries and the African continent at large.

Resourcing

The African Youth Foundation grant-making ensures to diversify funding sources, grants, corporate sponsorship, individual donations, fundraising events and partnerships with other organizations to be able to reach more youths within the African continent.
