Our Approach

We employ various approaches to Youth empowerment. Our continental approach involves bringing together African youth-led initiatives to foster collaboration and exchange of ideas and practices in the development of innovative projects. Through the creation of a joint grant program and pilot dialogue and engagement mechanisms, the project will create opportunities for the development of joint activities that have long-term positive impacts.

We seek to Involve in-depth research on the African context to understand the best potential solutions, challenges, and opportunities for fruitful collaboration. This research will also serve as the basis for project selection; joint activities should have a clear and measurable impact, with an emphasis on making a difference in the African continent. To ensure the project is carried out successfully and sustainably, regular remote or in-person feedback sessions from participants and stakeholders will be organized to ensure the best exchange of ideas.

Additionally, the project should have a structured and transparent grant system where successful projects are awarded appropriate resources needed to bring them to completion.

We also seek to develop an online platform that provides a space for dialogue, interaction, and sharing of experiences and ideas to ensure a successful and sustainable collaboration on African youth-led initiatives. In doing this, we employ a range of approaches including:

Needs Assessment: Identify the specific challenges and barriers faced by youth in the African continent. This assessment helps us to understand areas where funding and support are most needed.

Collaborative approach: We foster collaboration and partnership with other organizations, community leaders, educational institutions, and youth-focused initiatives. By working together, the organization leverages resources, shares knowledge and avoids duplication of efforts.

Participatory decision-making: We involve youth in our decision-making process through youth representatives in each sphere.

Tailored Funding Opportunities: We offer a range of youth funding opportunities that are able to cater for the diverse needs and aspirations of youths.

Long-term engagement: We aim for sustained engagement with the youth community in the African continent.
