Stand a chance to win $15,000!! The International Trade Center with the support of The Youth Café have partnered to promote the Youth Ecopreneur Awards. The Youth Ecopreneur Awards are the first of their kind which aim to promote youth entrepreneurship in the green economy. The award is calling upon young ecopreneurs with innovative solutions in three categories; Renewable energy and energy efficiency, Sustainable waste management and Efficient use of water.
Since, one of the focus areas highlighted in the Theory of Change is Education and Skills. The Youth Café aspires to provide high quality education and training systems that are efficient and that facilitate young people’s access and integration. Through our collaboration with Films Pour Enfants, we hope to harness the skills and apply the knowledge from both organizations to build an educated society.
Between 3rd and 5th of March 2020, the Swedish International Centre for Local Democracy (ICLD) and The Youth Café met to share innovative communication strategies and dissemination approaches at the Municipal Partnership Programme Dissemination conference. The conference was held at the Gelian Hotel in Machakos, Kenya, and was attended by five municipal partnerships between Sweden, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
