Currently, women and girls still face discrimination despite the Kenya’s progressive policy frameworks though the country is slowly shifting towards total integration of gender roles which is reflected in women’s education, professional achievement, and family income contributions. The goal of the Youth Excel positive youth development is to promote positive outcomes for young people by providing opportunities, fostering positive relationships, and furnishing the support needed to build on their leadership strength.
