I, the representative of NGOs/ CSOs/organizations, having read the contents of the Kenya Youth Manifesto 2022 that has been duly launched on this 24th day of May 2022 at Villa Rosa Kempinski and in obedience to our higher calling to progress the welfare of the Kenyan youth, I hereby pledge to contribute to the recommendations of the Kenya Youth Manifesto 2022 that has been duly launched on this 24th day of May 2022 at Villa Rosa Kempinski.
I hereby pledge as follows:
THAT, as an NGO/ CSO/organization present herein, agrees to accede to the contents of the Kenya Youth Manifesto 2022.
THAT as an NGO/ CSO/organization, We shall be guided by the contents of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, other applicable laws, and the Kenya Youth Manifesto 2022 in any implementation role, be it advocacy, petitioning, or lobbying for expanded spaces of inclusion for the youth within the Kenyan jurisdiction;
As an NGO/ CSO/organization, we shall take all the necessary steps to immediately and expediently implement the proposed reforms captured in the Kenya Youth Manifesto 2022, with utmost faith and goodwill, considering the urgency and need for action on youth issues in Kenya;
THAT as an NGO/ CSO/organization, we shall continue to incorporate youth from diverse social, political, and religious spheres as our implementation partners for a progressive country, a sustainable economy, and cohesive society;
As an NGO/ CSO/organization, we shall rally other key governmental and non-governmental development partners to adopt and implement the contents of the Kenya Youth Manifesto 2022;
As an NGO/ CSO/organization, we shall play an active role in monitoring and evaluating the implementation progress of the contents of the Kenya Youth Manifesto 2022.
THAT The duration of the validity of this Declaration of Commitment shall be determined by the full implementation of the contents of the Kenya Youth Manifesto 2022. The contents of the Kenya Youth Manifesto 2022 are binding upon all parties and stakeholders and have a reciprocal effect.
