Today we’re not just celebrating strong women everywhere, but anyone who supports, advocates, and works towards gender equality and the fair treatment of women and girls!

It’s 2019- and while much progress has been made, there is still so much to be done. Think about these statistics:

One in three women worldwide have experienced violence from an intimate partner;
Every two seconds a girl under the age of eighteen gets married;
Every minute six girls are at risk of undergoing female genital mutilation.
