In collaboration with International Republican Institute, The Youth Café is working to have the drafted Kenya Youth Manifesto 2022 validated by a selected youth jury. The legitimacy of the youth jury process and the validity of its recommendations is critically contingent upon the extent to which youth jurors are representative of the broader community, as the purpose of the youth jury is to discuss issues of cultural diversity from the perspective of young people. The salient demographic features are the applicants' lineage, educational background, gender, and socio-economic status.

On the 29th of November, 2021, the Executive Director of The Youth Café, Willice Onyango will be speaking at a forum organized by Engage Jamii Initiatives in partnership with the US Embassy in Nairobi. The program will focus on the “Role of Youth and Women in Peaceful Election Campaigns” in Kenya.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is holding a meeting with representatives of Youth-led and Youth-serving Organizations across the country in Nairobi. The meeting will discuss areas of collaboration and institutional commitments to support voter registration and planned activities for the 2022 General Election.
