The Youth Cafe is inviting you to attend an online event hosted by The leaders of the Action Coalition on Technology and Innovation for Gender Equality on the 27th of January. The goal of the event is to involve youth organizations in the development of the Action Coalition blueprint. This will be the opportunity for all youth around the world to share their point of view, experiences, ideas, and contributions. Four young women leading technology and innovation will present their work and share their vision on how we can collectively make change happen through the Coalition

How To Participate

The roundtable will include a community activity: the Innovate 2021 artwork. This will set the stage for a collective vision of young people to be shared at the beginning of the session. This shared vision from the community of girls and young women shifting the landscape of technology and innovation will set the positive ambition for our goals and dreams in the New Year.

We invite girls and young women to submit visual artwork to share their reflections and dreams for technology and innovation in 2021. This artwork will show the shift away from what did not work in 2020 and innovate a fresh outlook for 2021. Kindly provide a drawing, picture, or brief text (1 - 2 sentences) representing what you want to move on to in 2021.

Send your contributions to: anouchka.dybal@unwomen.org. Please include your full name, country, and descriptive title for your submission. We shall put all submissions received into a collage that will be presented at the start of the Youth Roundtable. Participants will be invited to further describe their contributions to the collage.

We want to hear from you. Deadline: 24 January 2021
