The EU Action Plan On Human Rights And Democracy 2020–2024 is a framework, one of purpose and direction, with a broad range of policies, tools, and political and financial instruments. This EU Action Plan on Human Rights and Democracy 2020-2024 is the third Action Plan on Human Rights and Democracy adopted by the EU. As with the previous two Action Plans, the objective is to enhance and hone EU efforts to promote human rights and democracy worldwide.
In increasing numbers, young people are proactively combating the spread of the virus and working to mitigate and address the pandemic’s impacts. This report highlights young people’s actions to help curb the spread of the Corona virus, the impact of the pandemic on young people and considerations to take into account when engaging with young people during and after the pandemic.
This Policy, which is an outcome of a broad based consultative process, is designed to promote the creation of sustainable decent jobs and income generating opportunities for all youth, facilitate building of digital skills and leverage young people’s natural affinity to technology which is powerful in helping the nation grow and strengthen its economic base thus become more competitive in today’s globalized markets.
