The Youth Cafe is involved in developing, evaluating, and assessing housing policies executed by housing associations throughout Africa. The Youth Cafe has been involved in developing the audit methodology since 2012 and has carried out approximately ten audits in large and small housing associations in urban and rural areas throughout Africa.
Local and Regional Development
Local and regional development poses contemporary challenges due to a lack of fulfilment from specific institutions. The Youth Cafe’s portfolio includes sizeable technical assistance programs in the African Neighborhood and pre-accession countries. It covers local economic development, administrative reform, and the capacity building of national and local institutions.
