They’re key actors in social and policy dialogue at the local, national and international levels. The Youth Cafe involves youth organizations and networks in the design and implementation of our strategies and projects.
Non-Governmental Organizations | The Youth Café
Working with civil society organizations and NGOs is key to The Youth Cafe’s work to reduce global poverty, as they are often able to reach segments of youth populations that governments neglect or do not target as priority. We partner with NGOs in a number of ways. At the local level, projects and programmes supported by The Youth Cafe often leverage the experience of NGOs and their local knowledge for project implementation. TYC also works with NGOs on regional and global advocacy and research initiatives and aims to provide civil society partners with a platform to advocate for young people.
