We are excited about the prospect of forming a Content Partnership with you. In partnership, we will work with you to increase the impact of your work. This Content Partnership Agreement summarises the key proposed aspects of the partnership.
OUR AGREEMENT
The Youth Café is Africa’s largest community of young professionals harnessing youth potential for social impact. There are some youth unique features:
The network hosts a membership of over 100,000 people from virtually every continent in the world.
Via the website, fortnightly mailings, podcasts, videos and social media, we engage on a monthly basis through over 400,000 touch points.
CONTENT DISTRIBUTION GUIDELINES
1. As The Youth Café Content Partner, we do the following for you:
Profile you as a Content Partner on our website here, with your logo and a hyperlink to your website
Give you discounted tickets to The Youth Café Flagship events, terms and conditions apply per event.
Publish the insight and blog articles you share with us, upon review and approval. We can distribute your written content via TheYouthCafe.com, fortnightly e-newsletters and social channels.
Profile your nominated experts, sharing their insights within The Youth Café events, roundtables, webinars and Challenges.
Share your expert advice through ‘How to’ videos, podcasts and other multi-media formats.
2. As The Youth Café Content Partner, you and your regional team will:
Create member profiles on The Youth Café website here, to receive your fortnightly newsletter, primary research, insights and event news.
Follow The Youth Café social media pages, including: Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn.
Request to join The Youth Café Members’ LinkedIn Group.
Repost a minimum of one story from The Youth Café per quarter across your own organisation’s channels.
Sign up to follow The Youth Cafés relevant Challenges, which can be found here, in order to be a part of leading edge research and collaborations.
Become a Challenge Content partner. Nominate your organisation as experts on a Challenge topic.
3. From time to time may ask you to promote The Youth Café relevant content or event information. We will provide social media and copy assets to assist. We ask that you:
Share the content through your channels for example, via social media, your newsletter, website and intranet.
Share the event invites with your networks, including pass it on emails.
Promote our partnership.
CONTENT SUBMISSIONS
4. We ask that you please follow the Content Style Guide to assist with your written article submissions. This includes more information on audience, writing style, photography etc.
5. We ask you to provide a minimum of two items of content per annum, this can be in the format of articles, videos, podcasts or multi-media outputs.
6. You can provide up to two pieces of content per month for publication through The Youth Café channels.
7. You are free to ask The Youth Café to repost your stories that have already been published elsewhere (so long as you obtain the necessary permission). We will repost stories in full and include a credit and hyperlink to the original story.
8. For each published submission, The Youth Café will share a live link to the content. Using this link, you will:
Repost your live The Youth Café content onto your organisation’s social media channels (including @TheYouthCafe for Twitter, @TheYouthCafe1 on Facebook and tagging The Youth Café on LinkedIn)
Include the reposted live content on your own internal and external communications channels, for example your newsletters, website, intranet etc.
Provide sample text for accompanying social media posts for each published submission.
CONTENT CO-CREATION
9. By prior agreement we can run a Virtual Summit on a specific theme to help you gather new insights or showcase your work with desired partners. We can include this at no cost to you if one or more of your partners become members of The Youth Café.
10. By prior agreement we can explore co-creating further content with you, including running a Challenge, subject to you, or us jointly being able to secure funding.
